***2020 Top 9*** Looking at these nine snapshots fills my heart. They represent every aspect of this year. Making was *very* important to me. Making gave me purpose and focus during dazed days. All, but one image, represent my makings. Almost all have been passed along for others to enjoy. The one image *not* of my making was of my other love. Travel. I was blessed to enjoy an amazing adventure before any thing louder than a whisper hinted to what this year had in store. It... was a time of innocence and freedom. I look forward to freedom. I mourn the loss of our innocent. We all hung on for dear life on this roller coaster of a year. One thread connected ALL of us through this collective experience. All. Of. Us. Were impacted. All. Of. Us. Suffered. All. Of. Us. Found joy. Some more. Some less. Still.... all of us. I am *very* grateful for your constant support and appreciation of my work. This year, my 'normal' was shaken and I chose to explore new expressions. Every creative tack I made was greeted with positiveness. Much thanks. It certainly has not been a *blue* Christmas around here. My mood has been seduced by the grey of ferrous sulphate. Looking luscious on some of the vintage woollens in my stash, I was having the darnedest time deciding what to make from the three lengths I shibori-ed. Just wrapping around neck or shoulders was not enough. On the work table now? Three Origami Bags. Not as generous as my last litter. A tad more petite but just as heart stopping.
