With the construction of our new highway through the Kicking Horse Canyon beginning in March, I wanted to collect some archival footage of the current highway before it becomes a twinned, high speed highway. For generations, this single lane stretch of road has served as one of the most challenging and scenic portions of highway at the gateway of British Columbia to the rest of Canada. The crumbling infrastructure coupled with the increase in traffic over the years marks the end of an era of highway transportation in Canada, ushering in new, modern, safe highways. #GoldenBC #KickingHorseCanyon #KickingHorse

We were out flying our new Mavic Enterprise Dual for the first time today, complete with a FLIR infrared camera. First results look promising, we are looking forward to getting out it in the dark and cooler weather to see what we can really do. This is a great tool for many applications! I got out with our brand new DJI Mavic Enterprise Zoom yesterday. This is a great little drone with huge capability. 2:1 optical and 3:1 digital zoom make the little camera a power packed addition. I was shocked at the overall quality of the images the camera captured right out of the box. We'll post some of those later. The flight handling characteristics and the avoidance system are both great, and the low noise rotors make this a really nice unit for urban settings, however plenty of power for being out in the wind mountain flying. Add the speaker, spotlight, and beacon accessories and this little drone becomes a serious tool for a large array of complicated missions.
