We are now closed for the year. Although our season was only 3 1/2 months this year, we want to send our heartfelt gratitude to our guests, regulars and new, that helped to support us. We want to wish everyone the best and hope that next year things will be better. We will wait and see what the spring brings and decide then when we can safely reopen.

Our fisherman tried some gold panning. Found some. Anyone wanna buy a fishing rod? Just kiddin', after a day of panning he's off on the river to fish.

A few shots from our stay last night at The Inn at Spences Bridge, and along beautiful BC Highway 8 on the way there yesterday.... Always one of our favourite BC roads and a favourite place to stay!

What will the summer of 2020 bring for the oldest Inn in BC? We have had 4 guests since Oct 2019. 100% of our international travellers have cancelled their bookings (90% of our business). When restrictions are lifted grab your bubble of friends or family and take a road trip back in time. We have 10,000 square feet of spotlessly clean isolation. Only 3 1/2 hrs from from the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal and 3 hrs from the Lower Mainland, walk through Othello tunnels (15 mins e...ast of Hope), grab gas and a homemade lunch at Hope River ( (Emory bar), take a 10 min hike down to Alexandra Bridge, take the tram at Hells gate ( if open) and make our Inn your destination. Stay two nights, travel to the quaint little town of Ashcroft and visit Desert Hills Ranch then have dinner at the( Farm to Table) Packing House Restaurant, and have cold beer and wings the next night at the iconic Log Cabin Pub ( when open) Plan a Sage- scented ,starry skied staycation in the desert. 1-877-354-1997 See more

Our Inn has survived fires and floods and many other things over the last 158 years. We hope when this is over British Columbians will help us to continue.
