It looked and sounded amazing on the big screen and received a rousing round of applause to kick off the event. We are making shorter clips for social media. Super cool news! A branding and communications client since early this year.

Surrounded by ancient forest, mountains and the Pacific Ocean, UBC is the ideal environment in which to share ideas to engage in circles of meaningful and generative conversation. This theme was visually reflected in the logo and branding created by Ion. The 88th annual Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences took place at UBC June 1-7. With over 10,000 attendees converging on UBC’s Vancouver campus, this is the largest interdisciplinary conference in Canada, and one... of the largest in the world. It brings together over 70 academic associations that represent a rich spectrum of disciplines in the humanities and social sciences. With the large scale of the UBC campus, with buildings distributed across the map, a comprehensive way-finding programme was mission critical. Along with collateral material, social media assets and other applications, this two-year project developed into a comprehensive, robust and successful platform serving many needs for a wide range of audiences and stakeholders.
