James has been a Registered Massage Therapist since graduating from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in 1992. He has a broad range of experience in massage therapy including the treatment of young mothers and their babies at Jessie’s, and nonverbal teens and adults at Broadview Village and L’Arche Toronto. He has worked with clients with HIV, terminal cancer and chronic pain. James creates an individualized treatment plan for each client. Regardless of the focus of... each treatment, he understands that stress reduction and promoting relaxation are equally important. James has a particular interest in LGBTQ healthcare, specifically in working with those who are gender diverse and those seeking treatment for post-op scarring following gender affirming surgery. In his free time, James is an amateur photographer and he is pursuing a Master’s degree in Pastoral Studies.
