Good morning Everyone!! Janvier Gallery has been a little quiet lately with no appointments in the past few weeks. But we interested in knowing how many fans would like to buy some art mugs, magnets, cards, framed art cards, scarves etc.? Through Facebook sale or email? We are considering doing a set maximum of about 50 orders.. shipping will be $20 per box in most cases. But that might increase with larger or heavier orders. Right now we are just gaging the interest.. we can also arrange a Cold Lake pick up location for orders in our area to avoid shipping costs. Please leave a below if your interested.

Alex Janvier has often truthed his story of the Residential School experience with words and art. He painted a ultra raw painting called "Blood Tears," in 2001 which is now on display at the Royal Alberta Museum. But there are others that he has made that also shine light on this experience too. The works in his 1990s Apple Series were also a lot about these school memories. He is a survivor that did his best to provide vision and life beyond the haunting memories of the ...residential schools. We are now looking into a few tshirt options that will be for sale in the near future. The first two pictures are designs being used for the first set shirts. We are also looking at donating profits of the tshirt sales to a local organization working for the healing and betterment of our Indigenous peoples. If you interested in a shirt purchase in the near future, watch for more posts when they are available. Today we acknowledge Alex Janvier, the artist legend who gives up hope beyond the genocide.
