The sun is poking through this December morning! Hoping you get outside to enjoy it. Since Florida is out of the question these days, here's a picture of some Florida sunshine! And I couldn't resist the carrots and beets. Yummy..so good for our tummy!

Are you struggling to make positive changes to your diet and lifestyle? Here's a BIG tip: Stay focused on the small, incremental changes that can help you stay motivated as you work towards hitting your long-term goals. ... Whether that means choosing healthy foods like fruits and veggies instead of junk food, or going for a brisk walk in the fresh air or going to the gym, or doing some yoga, or saying no to that glass of wine. What is most important is that you don't stress about. Stress may be what is making you feel like crap in the first place! Get off the stress wheel. It's a silent kller. Enjoy your life's journey with both feet firmly planted on your OWN path to better health. Small incremental changes become permanent changes. Stay focused. Better health is just around the corner. Stay the course. I love these out-of-focus pictures I took.

8km power walk this misty Saturday morning. Feeling so fine! Made myself this lovely breakfast, getting about 7 veggie servings in, along with a healthy fat found in a nice homemade dressing with garlic, extra virgin olive oil, apple cider vinegar, salt & pepper, a sprinkle of oregano and a few red pepper flakes. I sautéed the broccoli, mushrooms, zucchini and red onion in EVOO, and added a little butter to fry up the egg (the egg for protein and many other important vi...tamins and minerals our bodies need). Added some chopped cocktail tomatoes and green and red onion to the greeney greens, tossed it all in the healthy EVOO fat dressing and Bob's Your Uncle...got my veggies in and haven't even had supper yet! See how easy it can be to get a variety of those so important vegetables in? Makes me feel very thankful, grateful, fortunate and humbled that I have such easy access to all this fresh, healthy food. Many don't. Here's to our health and well being and hopefully staying clear away from a hospital!

Your mother called. She's worried about you. She asked me to remind you to eat more vegetables, 5-9 servings of those colourful wonders per day. She knows it can be hard to fit that many in, but she loves you and wants you to have a beautiful, healthy body so you can work hard and buy her nice gifts. Give it your best effort. You won't regret it. She also wants you to exercise more - at least 3 times a week at a moderate intensity - because your ticker, lungs, muscles, g...ut, skin, liver, brain, your sweet blood sugar, your mood, they all crave it. Feed them good stuff and then work them. Get yourself outdoors, work up a good ol' sweat. Remember to always check with your doctor before going at it too hard or eating foods that might interact with any meds you may be on. Be informed. Be kind to yourself. Contact me for nutritional consulting/counselling/coaching, encouragement and support through diet and lifestyle changes, Maybe I can help you through the transition. My palms are sweating looking at the beautiful colourful veggies in this picture.
