Many are moving to the term 'physical distancing' instead of social distancing because of the psychological impacts. This article from Beverly Reed reminds us we can enrich social connection while still honoring physical distance: livingwellcounselling.ca/home/blog/

If you need some help with homeschooling my kids have enjoyed this template as a good place to start. Then they adjusted based on their subjects at school (Art, Foods, Devotions etc), added additional websites eg. Mathletics, Razkids & CBC Kids & wrote their own daily checklist. Just in case it will help anyone else thought I’d pass it on!

Feeling very grateful that in spite of everything we can still gather for meetings on the telephone and online for connection & encouragement. It keeps us healthier. It heals our hearts, minds & souls when we focus on love, honesty & mutual support. I’m convinced now with all this anxiety in the air we need each other more than ever. Have 28 min to dream with me? Let’s find strength together... https://recovering.podbean.com/e/experiencing-koinonia/

In 12 Step they say we’re only as sick as our secrets. It doesn’t mean bad sick, it means flu sick. We’re not bad people trying to get good, we’re oppressed people trying to get free. There’s ABSOLUTELY NOTHING you need to take to the grave.... #confessionheals #step5

Some call it vulnerability. Others say authentic, honest, genuine or real. Whatever we call it, that’s when our souls are communicating. We experience intimacy, loneliness leaves us & we start to feel safe and protected. #letstryit #justfortoday

Anxiety/stress management, what authenticity REALLY means and inspiration to listen to those *nudges* - we covered a lot in my first interview on Steve Wiens' podcast! Would love to hear your thoughts :) https://thisgoodword.podbean.com/e/episode-206-real-with-j/

I was originally meant to be recording Season 1 of my podcast, Just Ask Jenn, this week. It is a concept similar to Dear Abby and/or the Dr. Fraiser Crane radio show where people can submit questions and I'll share a response. Bascially free information for those in need with a blend of Psychology/Faith & 12 Step recovery based on what Ive seen be helpful for most (including myself). If you want more info on what its about go to: https://youtu.be/BQncqiiHu-o for a wind-burned-eyes longer explanation. That said, it just went from a podcast to - maybe - a full radio show this past week! Prayers appreciated!!
