Just Cauze

‘Don’t Be Late For School is a ’story book written for children attending the Light of Future schools in Cambodia. The photos were taken during my travels in rural Cambodia and intended to be culturally relevant for this literacy project. They were digitalized by my friend’s daughter, Erika Makino to make them more visually appealing to children. For many, this was the first book the kids had seen, and certainly, owned. Bilingual, the Khmer text was provided by Koy Chhim, C...ambodian Care. Thanks to the Ogopogo Rotary Club of Kelowna and HCM Management for sponsoring the printing. 28.04.2017 Our ladies in the sewing project are making school uniforms for Lightkids Center. They are so amazing!

A 5:30 am departure with Koy Chhim for a 9 hour round trip drive to rural Kratie province, Cambodia to deliver sewing machines for a sewing school funded by The... Ogopogo Rotary Rotary Club of Kelowna. Delivered books donated by Our Lady of Lourdes to set up a library in Cambodia Care's Light of Future School....now with 128 students! See more
