Now that the Norfolk Studio Tour has come and gone....and i hope as Kim would have, that everyone had a fantastic weekend, i feel a little more free to let any of Kims customers know that she still has a fair amount of products left. Soaps, candles, lotions, perfumes,etc. Her studio will not be opening at all, but as of now, a great shop in downtown Simcoe, LIBERTY is carrying Kims products and has been for quite some time now. Christy who runs the shop is a fantastic owner and get over and grab those items. My $ from any sales will be all donated to Stedmans Hospice in Brantford, based on the care they gave Kim for her 1 wk stay and 1or2 other local entities that Kim had a strong heart for...such as Waterford Old Town Hall. Its that time of year that Kim always looked forward to...Norfolk Studio Tour which is taking place next weekend, Set16-17th. Ive been getting asked a lot through social media if Kalm Studio will be open. Due to Kim Le Mare passing a few weeks ago Kim will NOT be apart of this incredible event. The studio is closed until we can decide how to move forward with her amazing creation..Kalm Studio. To all the artists on this yrs tour, our family wish you good success. To all those who are customers of Kims, our apologies. Hopefully we will come up with a plan for the fall leading up to xmas. The last thing we wanna see is Kims products go to waste, so they will be sold. We have already decided that ANY sales form Kims studio will be going to a few locations as donations. In loving memory...

I know it was awhile back i made a post in regards to Kim being sick and in a battle with her health....Im literally shaking typing this out right now but this BEAUTIFUL lady said goodbye to all of us who loved her early this morning while residing at the Stedman Hospice in Brantford. Many of you are passionate followers of her incredible, self created KALM Studio. If it wasnt for her business, i would almost certainly not create a facebook post....but its amazing how what sh...e created touched SOOO many people, and social media is 1 of those avenues. Once you set foot in her studio, that was it, you were hooked. Please note....the studio is closed for a time being. Im not sure where the next path for me and her creation will be, but its not going anywhere in the immediate. She came into my life only 26yrs ago, just under half my life, but we both said we knew each other and belonged together for all our 53,54yrs. That will never end. No one person deserves to ever go through the battles that i know she fought, but i know with all my heart that this beautiful woman absolutely didnt. People talk about a person sometimes in the sense..."they would never hurt a fly".....That literally was Kim...she would capture a bug in the house only to release it outside.....usually to come back inside again..lol......Like anything we take for granted and forget how special they are to us, we are crushed when they are gone....all of us so close to Kim are crushed.....I LOVE YOU!!! Our family is certainly not one to post our trials and tribulations....we always feel its a lot better to deal with these things in the home the old fashion way....as opposed to airing it all on social media,eg fcbk. But do to the fact Kim runs a fantastic artisan shop, Kalm Studio, and my antique sideline is part of that business, Im reluctantly posting...more so as a fyi to all her wonderful customers and to those that know Kim here in Norfolk. About 1month+ ago Kim entered... Hamilton General Hospital with some back issues....long story short she has been in Juravinski Hospital for almost 2wks and is in the midst of that battle with cancer that so many go through. Kim has had to graciously bow out of several events...Waterford Markets on wed, Art in the Part in Pt Dover in Aug. To all her customers, please know that her studio is back open on a fairly regular basis as our son and daughter or myself will be here. I spend almost ALL my time at Juravinski, but our 2 kids are doing a great job. Kim has already gone through some tough treatments, with more to come, but her attitude is ONLY POSITIVE....and she only wants positivity sent her way. Now that she is get back on her feet, literally, the hope is to come home this coming week and continue any further treatments as an out patient. To those close by us and that have known and have helped out so much with dinners,etc...Kim and I and our kids can never say thanks enough. Somehow, someway karma is coming your way and its all good.
