Happy Monday! Well, sadly our official race season is over for 2020. We were excited and proud to co- sponsor the season ending fun/ semi-endurance race with Dominos Pizza in Martensville. Huge thanks goes out to the volunteers who made this event happen at the Saskatoon Kart Racers club. What a great day!
Another great race weekend in the books! KartTec power wins in Jr1, Jr2 and Sr Briggs! Outstanding job by Riley, Liam and Easton for not giving under pressure, some super hard racing today! Saskatoon Kart Racers check out the club site and we are racing next weekend.
Well first day of a double header weekend in the books! We had some great racing at Martensville Speedway . Our KartTec tuned Briggs and Stratton engines scored a win in Jr1, Jr2, Senior and a second place in Masters! Outstanding job by all the drivers! Come on out and watch some great racing tomorrow! Track goes live around 10am
Only three races left this season! It's going to come down to the wire in the Senior and Jr2 classes, with a super close points gap. https://www.facebook.com/227410054032213/posts/2925668374206354/

Here is another way to common occurrence when an engine package is improperly assembled! Every single engine we see in the shop, that is not done by us has a leaking exhaust header! A leak at the cylinder head flange causes incorrect scavenging! Scavenging problem=power loss! Might be small, but every small loss adds up to a big loss!
Here are pictures of a cylinder head off of a engine with 5.5 hours of use in Sr class. This was properly broken in and has used 4T oil from new! This engine had 5% leakage past the valve seats, which causes a significant power loss. If you look closely at the marked area you can see the combustion staining on the seats as the combustion pushes past. We can fix this! A sealed engine is a strong engine!
We just saw this post on the EDKRA Facebook page! They are a little late to the party but getting it now! We have known about the slight irregularities with even a sealed crate engine for years! If you want the best performance out of your Lo206 we can do it for you! ... A few small details can get the most out of your engine. We offer solid advise, and have the tooling to get the job done to extract the most performance out of your package. Give us a call!
We wil be track side for tomorrow 's race day number 6 at Martensville Speedway supporting racers needs. Vega Green and Blue available!
Big thanks to all the volunteers for help running a great race day today! Can't do it without you. Saskatoon Kart Racers Martensville Speedway
