Its hard to believe that it has been almost 3 weeks since #KCIHunchback took its final bows on our Auditorium stage! This show will forever be a part of all of us and, even though we have a little more time for some rest and recreation now that its done, we definitely all continue to miss our favourite sanctuary. To the 3000 people who came to see our show during its run, thank you again from the bottom of our hearts, your support means the world to all of us, and we hope to see you back again...someday soon. Thanks again to the amazing @ems.snaps and her team for these amazing production stills. We have so many that we cant wait to share!

Last week, we had the privilege of having a private Prologue Workshop and catching a preview performance of the @stratfest production of Billy Elliot the Musical! We were completely blown away by the incredible cast, design, direction, choreography...everything about #sfBillyElliot. So many laughs and tears throughout this picture perfect production! Were BACK! KCI is thrilled to announce that, after our SOLD OUT musical production of The Addams Family, our 2019 musical production will be THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME! Coming this May! We will be looking for actors, singers, and dancers, but there are also a lot of ways to be involved with the production behind the scenes. If you paint, build, create, or sew are interested in hair and makeup or tech, we need you too! Thats it Raiders! The bell just rung on our last school day of the year, and what an amazing year it has been. We had our 4th Limelight, our beautiful production of Peter/Wendy, our Improv Team placed 2nd at the @tricityimprov regional tournament and Drama council took an incredible trip to @stratfest for our Drama Retreat! We have had a fantastic year full of fun, friends and memories and we are so lucky that you all came along for the ride! We hope you all break a leg on your exams and have a fun and safe summer! We send our graduating KCI Drama members off into the world and wish them the best in wherever the future takes them! Thanks so much for all you have brought to the department, we love you.

Our incredible team not only took home second place out of the entire @tricityimprov region but our very own Braden Wood took home the coveted Spirit of the Games award for his outstanding participation in the Games over the last 4 years. We are honoured to announce that we received three awards at the NTS Drama District Festival on Saturday! Our lovely adjudicator, Darleen Spencer, awarded Hannah B. And Aodhan M. with a Certificate of Merit for their physical theatre piece as Peter and his shadow. Our entire cast was also awarded with an Award of Excellence for creating theatre magic, as well as the coveted Spirit of the Festival award! We are so proud of our spectacular cast and crew for all the hard work they put into this beautiful show!

THEYRE HERE! The #KCINeverland posters are here and coming to a hallway near you! We will be performing at SJAM for the NTS Drama Festival next Thursday, March 1st with student tickets costing only $8 and adult tickets costing only $10! We will also be bringing Neverland to the KCI Auditorium on Tuesday, March 6th at 7pm with tickets for only $5! We cant wait for you to join on our adventure to the second star to the right and straight on till morning!
