On September 20th, Kells students joined millions of Canadians in casting their ballot in the federal election. Students started the morning watching campaign videos prepared by the grade 11 Contemporary World students and then took their turn behind the cardboard screen to choose their representative. And the results are . . . With 39% of the student vote, Kells students have chosen Liberal candidate Marc Garneau as their representative. In second place, New Democratic ca...ndidate Emma Elbourne-Weinstock secured 20% of the student vote. Conservative candidate Matthew Kaminski came in third with approximately 14% of the vote.
