It was a "spooktacular" time today at Social Hour celebrating Halloween. With safety protocols in place we were entertained with live music. Fun was had by all. Here are a few photos from the day. A few of our residents helped with the decorating. Love the spirit!

"Stand By Me," is a community initiative to highlight seniors in our community during this Pandemic. Featured in the September 23rd issue of The North Grenville times was Hazel and Martin Brayman, married for 64 years!! Sadly, that same week Mr. Brayman passed away in hospital after a lengthy illness. When this picture was taken by the North Grenville Photography Club, Hazel said, "On July 15th, Martin and I celebrated our one year anniversary at KVRL and are so thankful we decided to make this place our home. The Managers and Staff have worked diligently as a team to make KVRL a safe haven.

The Sing-A-Long was very popular this week along with Wilma's dog, Murphy's visit. The main highlight though was the Oktoberfest celebrations with the lively courtyard show and the social hour. The International Set Duo performed songs like polkas, waltz and much more that all residents thoroughly enjoyed! And the weather co-operated until the end!!
