Appliance Advantage, A Division of Keyesbury Appliance Distributers is seeking assistance in the following position (s) Reception/Sales Support... As a front desk receptionist, the ideal candidate will act as a gatekeeper to our store. They allow access to other employees, answer phones, transfer calls, schedule appointments, answer questions, give directions and manage the flow of traffic in the store. As the front desk receptionist, you greet anyone who enters the store. A friendly attitude is an essential quality and the candidate should also be organized and find it easy to communicate clearly. They also need to be familiar with office equipment and procedures. Having experience in all social media platforms is also an important requirement although will train the right candidate. Job Responsibilities * Greet people entering the building, answering any questions, providing directions and alerting staff when someone is there to meet or visit them * Answer phone system, manage calls by routing them to the proper extensions or taking messages and delivering them to proper employees. Assist on the floor when needed upon completing training. * Accept deliveries and mail, organize them to be distributed to the correct recipients * Serve as the face of the company, offering friendly service to those entering the building or calling in on the phone * Maintain the reception area, keeping it clean and free of clutter * Handle filing, order entry and data entry as requested Job Skills & Qualifications Required: * At least two years of training or experience in customer service * Computer proficiency including Social media platforms * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work independently
