Happy Friday babes! As a Beauty Specialist, I am so passionate about integrity, cleanliness and overall skin/hair health. Lash Artistry is BOOMING and I am so excited about all of the new tips and techniques I have learned over my last 3 years of lashing. I was first and formally trained by LashForeverCanada, the #1 training facility in Canada for lashes (Lauren is seriously a GODDESS) and have continued to expand my knowledge in the lash world. GRAPHIC Let me show you why cleaning your lashes is SO important - This babe came to me for a foreign fill (I generally don't fill other artists work, but I made an exception under the circumstances) and when I started to remove lashes this is what I discovered.... Cleaning your lashes with an appropriate cleanser is a MUST! A targeted lash shampoo, an oil free/fragrance free soap and warm water, or an oil free micellar water will make the WORLD of difference. Build up of dirt, oil, debris, pollution & makeup not only closes your fluffy fans and makes your lashes look "wet", but it also prevents your new lashes from growing, thus resulting in infections, ingrown hairs & premature shedding. I ended up removing all lashes, doing a deep clean and a new light set of lashes. Have any questions about how to clean your lashes? DM me! #lashrescue

MAGIC SHADOW BROWS On the left you can see this clients brows were starting to get sparse, especially in the centre and tail end. We created a fuller shape and extended the tail to give a natural but defined look with brow mapping. Magic shadow was the perfect technique to use as my clients brow hairs were coarse and she wanted an easy, carefree look. Magic shadow gives the illusion of a fuller brow and more of a "tint" look than a heavy dark & defined brow.... Loving the outcome of these natural, medium brown brows that will last this babe 3+ years with proper aftercare

This year has been one for the books, but I am thankful every single day to be supported by the best friends/fam/babes around! CANCELLATION POLICY: @nirvanahairstudiospa requires AT LEAST 48 hours notice in advance when you are cancelling or rescheduling your appointment. I GET IT - things come up! I have been lenient and flexible with you babes since the beginning and I have no problem finding a solution when conflicts arise. HOWEVER - if you fail to provide 48 hours notice prior to cancelling an appointment you will be required to put down a deposit at the time of next booking.... As of October 1st, I will be requiring a 50% deposit at the time of booking for all FULL LASH SETS and any PMU BROW services.
