From the archives: This is a grade one class 1950 from Dawson Annex. As Dawson no longer exists and was a feeder school to King George, we are trying to collect any old class photos from Dawson. If you have any we could copy please let me know. thanks Jim
From the archives: The first picture shows two students from 1951. Notice there is no B.C. Hydro building in the background. The 2nd is of 4 cheerleaders from 1954 with the ever popular Comox Dairy Lunch in the background. Also the archives is looking for a 1973 annual. If anyone has one and would like to donate it to the archives, please let me know.
From the archives: Here is the grade eleven class of the 66/67 year. Does anyone remember if a newsletter like the Georgian Chronicle was published that year?
From the archives: A dance in the gym of the old KG about 1960
From the KG archives: Another school sweater has been donated by Helen Jamieson (Woodcock) from the class of '61.It will go along with Helgi's sweater. For the newer alumni how many remember "the Grotto"? We at the archives (Jessie and myself) are wondering if any of you alumni are interrested in forming an KG Alumni group? We feel this step is necessary to preserve the archives.
