Schedules over the weeks of Christmas & New Years: Sunday, December 20 - Thursday, December 24th: - Regular on-road service and hours - KAS offices closing at 6pm daily. ... Christmas Day (Friday, December 25th): - No on-road service & KAS offices closed Boxing Day (Saturday, December 26): - Limited on-road service, regular hours - All permanent bookings are automatically cancelled - KAS offices open from 8am to noon Sunday, December 27: - Regular on-road service & hours - KAS office open 8am - noon Monday, December 28 (day observed in lieu of Boxing Day): - Limited on-road service, regular hours - All permanent bookings are automatically cancelled - Office closing @ 6pm Tuesday, December 29 - Thursday, December 31: - Regular on-road service and hours (last pick-up of the night is at 11:30pm). - KAS offices closing at 6pm New Years Day (Friday, January 1, 2021): - No on-road service & KAS offices closed Saturday, January 2, 2021: - Regular on-road service & hours - KAS offices closing at 6pm

Just a reminder that while monthly passes are valid for a calendar month, they cannot be used to pay for trips taken PRIOR to the purchase of the monthly pass. For example a pass purchased on November 4th does not cover trips taken from November 1st to 3rd, or trips on the 4th prior being purchased.

On Monday, October 19th our phone lines will be down briefly at some point between 9 and 11am to have some work done on them. This should only take a few minutes, however we will transfer our lines to our after-hours service (Alliance Communications) during that time. Please note: The after-hours service cannot take trip reservations. Once we know the exact time they will be down we will update it to this page. The lines will be down again at 6pm for between 60-90 minutes. Again we will transfer our lines to the after-hours service.

"Pink Kingston Access Bus tickets which were sold up until the end of 2019 with a face value of $3.00 state this ticket may be used towards fare payment until December 31, 2020. As we eliminated fares for all trips from April to August this year, and continue to have lower than normal usage of the bus, these tickets will be extended as full fare value (currently $3.25/trip) until December 31, 2021.

PERMANENT BOOKINGS WHICH HAVE NOT RESUMED BEING USED: There are approximately 400 permanent bookings each week which have been on hold since March/April due to Covid closing many programs and facilities. We have not been accepting any new permanent booking requests to ensure space for when the existing (i.e. pre-Covid) permanent bookings resume. However most programs and facilities which remain closed at this time have no idea of when they may resume operations. As a ...result effective November 1, 2020 any existing permanent booking which has not resumed being used by that date will be cancelled permanently. Passengers will need to contact us to reapply for permanent bookings when their programs/facilities re-open. We are now accepting new permanent booking requests. Please note: Each hour we endeavour to maintain approximately a 50-50 mix of bus availability between permanent bookings and on-demand bookings (i.e. non-recurring trips). Thus to ensure room for on-demand bookings not all permanent booking requests can be accommodated. A permanent booking must originate from and travel to the same destination, on the same day of the week at the same time every week. Once set up, each individual permanent booking must be used unchanged a minimum 75% of days over a 3-month period. Permanent bookings are automatically cancelled on stat holidays, or days observed in lieu of a stat holiday by Kingston Access Bus. Those cancellations on stat holidays do not count towards the 75% threshold.
