As we approach the end of September and move towards a Thanksgiving weekend, we are thankful. For living in a province that supports Home Education. For AHEA and PCE and their efforts this year to advocate for Home Education and parental choice. For the privilege of serving all of the families that have chosen Koinonia@Home this year. We give thanks to the Lord.

Let's talk Kindergarten! In Alberta, you do not have to register your child for kindergarten in home education. Many families enjoy that first year not being registered with any board. There are families though that would like to. Often, these families are looking to be connected with a board and a support teacher. At Koinonia at Home, we recognize that and offer an optional Kindergarten age program called "Little Lights". Families in our Little Lights program are connecte...d to support teacher, are plugged into our board events, and are a part of the Koinonia family. This is a completely optional program that we offer for families that are looking for this support or connection as they start their home education journey. We are blessed the Choice in Education Act strives to honor parents. Dennis Prager explains the reason this is important to the future for our society. Koinonia@Home is devoted to Christ and dedicated to parents. We are excited to provide educational choices for parents and stand firm on scripture and parental authority. We are privileged to serve families who share this worldview. Registration is open for September 2020.
