Just a friendly reminder... Please book your public skates by the previous day so we can ensure the ice is clean for practices. Afternoon and evening skates are fine and encouraged but last minute doesn’t work in case we can’t get a hold of the caretaker to clean the ice in time for practices. Thanks and happy skating!

New Public Skating Protocol Public skates can be booked in 1hr time slots. You can check the online calendar for available ice times then book it with Gillian/Jody. The public skate can begin half an hour after the previous skate/practice has ended and must end half an hour before the next booked ice time. ***As per Sask Health Authority restrictions there may only be 8 skaters on the ice at any given time.*** ... At this time we are only allowing LMHA team members and those in our community that have skating passes to attend the public skates. Any weekend public skates must be booked by Thursday the week of. These skates will not be posted on fb as it is up to whoever hosts it as to what 8 people will be attending that skate. The person who books the public skate is responsible for ensuring all rules are followed and must do the sanitizing after. A few reminders... 1. Sign in book must be utilized. 2. Dressing rooms and lobby must be sanitized after. 3. Use either the South two dressing rooms or the North two dressing rooms (so that there’s always two dressing rooms ready for the next group). 4. Masks are to be worn by everyone at all times (on and off the ice). 5. No scrimmaging of any sorts. 6. Skaters must keep 3m apart at all times. 7. 8 person limit on the ice. 8. PLEASE stay home if sick. Please be aware that at any time Rink Board Members, LMHA Board Members, RCMP and or Public Health may walk in. If these rules are not being followed public skating will be shut down.

We are taking a little pause from ALL rink activities for a few days. We would like to resume practices on Wed, Dec 2nd but keep in mind this is fluid. We will keep you posted.

There is a pause on hosting public skates until after our meeting tonight. More info will be posted once decisions have been made.

The U13 Ice Cats won 12-4 versus the Southwest Cyclones. The U15 Wood River Boys won 5-0 versus the SC Eliminators. The U18 Ice Cats won 8-3 versus Milestone.

It was a 5-4 win last night for the Wood River U18 Boys versus the Shaunavon Badgers.
