Dear Members, Happy New Year and I trust most of you have had a fun and safe Holidays. Covid is running rampant and those who have it, I wish you the speediest recovery and look forward to seeing you back in class when appropriate. I have decided to follow other clubs and wait to re-open on Monday January 10th. The main reason for that is I have not yet heard back from Public Health regarding a couple questions I had about capacity and social distancing.... Furthermore, there is a Press Conference scheduled tomorrow so hopefully that may shed some light on a few more outstanding issues. This does NOT affect the Camp this week. I am familiar with those rules and guidelines and we are under the 15 child limit and good to go. All memberships will be adjusted 3 weeks. Hi Everyone, I hope everyone is enjoying the Holiday season and staying healthy. With school starting a week late I’m just wondering if there is a need for me to run a camp next week. If so it would be run like a March Break camp. Games and TKD of course.... Feel free to let me know here or send me an email. I’ll try to make a decision sooner rather than later. Thanks! Well folks that’s a wrap for 2021! In light of today’s announcement from the Province I have decided to cancel classes until the New Year. We simply have too many students to be able to make the 10 person limit. I will wait until after Christmas to see what the restrictions are before announcing a schedule.... Jackets will be ready on Thursday and I will send an email detailing a time and place for each location where parents can meet me for sparring gear and jackets. Stay safe and I’ll be in touch! Hi Everyone, For those of you coming to the Lil Ninja test, please remember to park in the back parking lot. All students can come inside. With limited space spectators will be allowed in to register and then to watch their own children. If your children are not yet testing, please wait outside and let the parents of the testers in. Dear Members, I'm going to stay on the safe side of cautious and cancel classes tonight. I just came from Dartmouth and the snow has begun. A Great Day!! Yesterday we had more than 60% of our student body participate in the Annual LeBlanc Taekwon Do Championships. For me, it makes me so happy to see all the spirited kids interacting, laughing and hopefully building stronger friendships.... A lot of work and planning go into these tournaments and I want to commend all of the Black Belts who came out to support the kids as they were supported by Black Belts before them. We can not run tournaments without the Black Belt team. Thank you to Mr. Boudreau and Miss Melanson for bringing their students from Paragon Taekwondo-Do and Melanson Taekwon-Do respectively. As with all tournaments I will do a quick de-brief of the day with all classes this week and answer any questions the kids have. I am so appreciative of the parents and students who helped clean up the gym yesterday. It would have been a long night for me otherwise. Congratulations to all the children for showing Indomitable Spirit and thank you for always making me proud. Feel free to post your favourite tournament picture in the comments! Taekwon. Mr LeBlanc

Re-opening! So we are allowed to re-open on Monday. As we are considered a sport we are allowed to have up to 25 in a class so all of our classes are good to go. With the Holidays coming I will send out a revised schedule. We are going to stay open and active over the holidays but there will be a few shifts in class days.... Dear Members, Many of you have likely heard that there were 37 new cases announced today. All Organized Sports are also to be frozen beginning Thursday at Midnight. I am going to freeze our classes immediately.... The After School portion of our club remains open as we are allowed to continue that. While refunds can not be made, all memberships are frozen. Once we are allowed to re-open the amount of time missed will be added on to existing memberships. Please stay safe and I hope to see you all before the Christmas holidays. Remembrance Day is a chance to reflect on the lives lost so that we and our children can love the freedoms that we do. Taekwondo-Do was created by General Choi while he was POW at war. With so many people likely to not have their winter tires on, I am going to cancel classes and we will start with everyone on Thursday. ... I am always going to put safety first.
