Keeping your tools sharp is a must! This skiving knife makes this look easy. I thin (skive) the edges of certain pieces of the products to make a less bulky item and cleaner seams on turned bags.

Christmas came early for me! I spoiled myself with some nice tools so I can spoil all of you with nicer products. The lower two are punching irons used to make the holes before I hand-stitch items. I was skeptical of all the hype ciculating about these specific irons, but I have been proven wrong.. they are phenomenal. The top item in the picture is a edge beveler, used to round the edges of the leather for a smoother finished look and cleaner edge burnishing.
