I would like to wish everyone a Very Happy Christmas and let's hope 2021 is a better year than this awful year. There will be no more postings before Christmas. The last ones go out today (19 December) with normal service resuming on 28 December. Orders still being accepted though.

German Author Jill Marc Münstermann has written this very fine account of the Leopard 1 and 2 in combat (in German). I was asked to write a postscript in the b...ook in order to sum up the development, the actual combat use and the future perspectives of the vehicles. Meng Leopard 2A7+ Does anyone know what this piece of equpment is on the Meng Leo 2A7+ kit. I am guessing it might be a white-light searchlight, but probably not!! Remember this is a one-off piece of equipment on a one-off demonstration tank, not a service tank. Are there any close-up photos of the real thing?
