This 1.5 year old, golden/lab cross girl is looking for a special family to adopt her. Dallas needs a special home that current applicants on our Career Change list are not able to provide. Dallas is a sweet girl who loves attention from people, enjoys cuddling and is looking for an experienced applicant that can continue to guide her through maturity and manage her fears so she can continue to be the happy playful dog she is. See below for detailed information about Dallas...: - Has allergies which flare up in the form of ear infections and diarrhea. She's currently stable on a specialty allergy diet which is only available from Vet offices. - She fears strange objects and small children. She is looking for a home without young children or visiting young children. - Has a history of resource guarding from other dogs, we prefer a home without another dog. - She is friendly off leash with other dogs, has good recall, but may bark at dogs while on leash, and knows basic skills like down, sit, stay & heel. - Has prey drive on walks and will pull toward squirrels, bunnies, and other animals. A body or head harness will be a requirement of adoption. - Reliable in the house, she's never destroyed things when left alone. To submit an application to adopt Dallas, please visit http://www.dogguides.com//career-change-application-2020.p . If you have any questions regarding her application, please email [email protected].

No better day to share this than on #WorldKindnessDay, a day created to highlight good deeds in the community focusing on the positive power and the common thread of kindness which binds us. We are so thankful to a group of Appleby College students that volunteered their time to help the foundation with a few outdoor projects. The students (which are all in the same social bubble) gave some TLC to our outdoor space at the Oakville facility. Thank you for your kindness - the staff and dogs at Lions Foundation loved the new and improved look!
