Well that time of year is here. Why does summer have to end.

This year we wrote on a pumpkin things we are thankful for to teach our boys. Unfortunately, I was not able to find a pumpkin big enough to write what Lil Green Urban Farms is thankful for! I can’t express enough on how thankful I am to have a great family and amazingly supportive customers!! And for that I thank you all. I hope you are all well and surrounded by friends and family this weekend and enjoying some great food and laughs!! Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, it’s that time of year when we call it quits on edible flowers. Sad face emoji... I’m going to pull the lemon and tangerine gems and pot them in a big tub and hope they take so they can go in mixed greens.

Decided to plant 1 pepper plant this year and I must say I was very happy with the outcome. How did your garden do this year? I have heard lots of people say that this was a great year for tomatoes.

Looks like another beautiful fall day ahead.

The new garden is done and ready to grow! Cover crops are seeded and getting watered and the soil can’t wait for them to be tilled under to kick 2021 off!!
