Zach of @pudseylandscaping was wrapping up our front yard project this weekend, and brought his sidekick Lucy to keep him company. I saw her and had to get my hands on her for a spring cleaning! This loveable 9 year old was amazing for her first visit with a groomer and I loved making her look and feel so clean and fresh! Toby I groomed this beautiful boy a week ago yesterday, knowing that it would most likely be his last groom. Toby passed away yesterday, and now my heart aches for his wonderful mother. She sent me this picture that she took of him right after his last groom. I am not just a groomer doing a job. Your dogs become a part of my world and my heart. I spend a lot of one on one time with them. I know every inch of their bodies. I remember specific details of every dog I work ...with and I think I have close to 600 clients at this point. My brain is like a dog Rolodex. It shocks me what I remember about each client. When you lose your pet, my heart aches. I think of them and you constantly during that time. I reflect on all the time I had with your dog and I send all my strength and love your way. All I want to do is give you the biggest hug in the world. Losing a pet is so hard. And they definitely don’t live long enough. I’ve lost quite a few clients this year. I remember them all, think of them all and miss them all. I am touched that I am often one of the first people my clients call or text to let me know their dog has passed. My job can be so hard in that way. I didn’t think about that part when I first became a groomer. So just know that to me your dog just isn’t a pay check, your dog becomes a part of my world and touches my heart. And I look forward to seeing them at every single appointment. So thank you Little Big Dogs for choosing me to be apart of your dogs life. To care for them and keep them in their best condition. Once in a while I need to sneak pics of my big head in here Thank you so much to everyone who jumped on my last message and contacted me! I believe I am finally all caught up! If you havent heard back from me, please just reach out again. Once in a while a message slips through the cracks. If you do not have December booked, please text me now. Its crazy to say, but December is nearly fully booked!! ... In September I will start setting up 2021 bookings for the entire year. Its easier for you, waaaay easier for me, and keeps your dog on a comfortable and healthy grooming schedule. We can always make changes as the year goes on, but at least they will have a regular spot booked. Thanks again for being so great! I know I am not always prompt with my responses, but its hard when its a one woman show. Plus... life. I answer my messages in sequence, so if it takes me a couple days to get back to you, Im just not there yet. If I open the message right away, then it will get lost and I will forget to get back. So I leave messages unread until Im ready to respond. One of these days Ill get a better booking system in place So thank you for your patience and understanding.

Its been a crazy ride these last few months! I need to keep things short and sweet these days, plus I feel I know you all well enough now that I can get straight to the point! 1. It generally takes me at least 48 hours to respond to messages, as my days are full and long. Plus life is busy outside of grooming at the moment, so ... Im doing my best but have to make time for everything. 2. I am booked till the second week of October. Some exceptions depending on breed/ temp...erament, but my schedule right now is pretty full. Book now for the remainder of the year! 3. Nail trim clinics will continue to run monthly. I will post future dates later today. I can accommodate nail trims outside of my clinics should you not be able to make the nail trim dates. 4. Price increase. Due to an increase in my overhead costs, I will be increasing my prices. I will notify you prior to your groom of any price changes. I still need to figure out my new pricing structure so this is not immediate. I will post further on this when I am ready. 5. HST is applied to all grooms. Nail trims are $10 cash only. 6. I am not accepting new clients until Feb 2021 at the earliest. I have a client waitlist running and will pull from that list first. Should you have had a dog that was a client of mine and passed away, and you now have a new dog, that dog will be accepted as an immediate client. I think thats it for now! Once I finally wrap my head around my timeline I will get more active on social media again! Thank you Little Big Dogs! Your love, support and your dogs make my world a wonderful one!

I understand that some dogs will be due for a nail trim around now, and as I am still playing Covid catch up the clinic is scheduled for August. If you need them done before then please let me know and I will try to fit you in sooner. $10 cash per dog!

First off I need to say THANK YOU!!! Thank you to all my wonderful clients who have made the last couple months smooth sailing. Even though its been a crazy time, I honestly feel it couldnt have gone much smoother! I appreciate your patience, flexibility and support. I honestly work my butt off, and give Little Big Dog everything Ive got, but I often feel like I still drop the ball in a lot of ways. I try my best, but I am constantly trying to find ways to be better! I b...elieve I have contacted everyone who had contacted me at this point. If I somehow missed you, please reach out and I will find a spot for your pup as quickly as possible. I am currently booking for mid August and beyond. Please do not wait for your pup to be ready for a groom to reach out as I dont want to cause disappointment or hot pups! I also recommend considering a shorter cut for your pup in the upcoming months as we just dont know what to expect with the future of Covid. So theres my little catch up! Todays nail trim clinic was AMAZING!! Couldnt have run more smoothly! 25 dogs in 3 hours! Thank you to my amazing clients, who were all on time and allowed things to run as smoothly as it did. I have decided I like nail trim clinic days. I will get all the pups on the same monthly schedule and get them all done in one go. Should you not be able to make a clinic, of course I will still get your dogs nails done at another scheduled time. I will go through my calendar and s...et the dates for the upcoming months! Ive been wanting to get Odin off of flea and tick meds and go natural for awhile. So this year weve gone with the EM collar from @thecrazydoghouse.ca We still check him for any hanger-on-ers every time he comes in the house, but wearing this necklace 24/7 will help to keep him flea and tick free! Roo! Such a perfect little fluff ball! Roos first puppy groom was postponed due to Covid. Generally you want puppy grooms to start at 12 weeks old, or after theyve had all their shots. Small introductory grooms allow them to get comfortable with the grooming routine and everything involved in grooming before doing their first full clip. Covid-19 update: As Little Big Dog remains closed, I am still hopeful that non essential businesses will be allowed to re open sooner than later. Once I can reopen, I will be back logged. That being said, I will not be accepting new clients (unless we have spoken about me taking on your pup) until 2021. I very much appreciate all the love, support and referrals, but I will be putting all my energy, time and focus to my current Little Big Dogs. I do have a client waitlist on... the go, so I am happy to take names, just no new clients for 2020. I miss all my pup friends more than you know! Though I must say, this break is giving me a chance to make Little Big Dog better and more organized on the back end. Plus Im getting more out doors time with Odin, which we both are loving!
