Did you know that Canadian Intensive Care Week is October 25th-31st? Grateful patient Sam Hodgins shared with us the story of her daughter’s premature birth that resulted in a 117-day stay in the NICU at the Lois Hole Hospital for Women. Sam wanted to shine a light on the world of micro-preemies and give other families hope. Sam's daughter Savanah will be three years old at the end of this October.... BRA Day 2020 is going virtual! Join us this Wednesday, October 21, at 5:00 PM MST for a FREE 3-hour virtual event that brings leading breast reconstruction experts together to answer all your questions. BRA Day was established in 2011 to raise awareness and remove stigma about the procedures and results. It has succeeded in garnering national and international attention, and this year, The Peter Gilgan Centre for Women’s Cancers at the Women’s College Hospital (WCH) in Toronto is partnering with the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) to deliver a virtual edition of BRA Day. The Canadian Society of Plastic Surgeons has also committed their generous support.
