So this is my I still can’t believe it face Another sad moment etched in my memories. As a Port City Shark, the team had their own dressing room at the LB...R. They could leave their gear and sticks there and each player had their own spot. Well after practice the other night, they left their gear and planned on playing Fredericton this morning to play their 27th game to complete their regular season But we all know how that ended So today Cam and I made the drive in to gather his things. It was a sad walk to the dressing room where a few other boys were doing the same. An abrupt end to a great season These boys showed everyone what they could do. They were headed to Provincials this coming Thursday as second in the province in the Bantam Major AAA league. This is not where others had them pegged for. I love the underdog and I’ve loved the grit and hard work these boys have put in There is some amazing talent on these blades and when working together as a TEAM, they won their way to second place in NB. With a season of 18-7-1, they walk out of their dressing room today better than when they walked in last fall I’m sorry you don’t get to play game #27 and earn 2 more points or play in Provincials this weekend and whoop some Thank you to coach Andy Bezeau who sets the bar high, has great expectations and who pushes the boys to the greatness he sees in them. Thank you Coaches Ted Arseneault and Matt Bursey for all your knowledge, skill, encouragement and leadership. Thank you Wendy Trzop-Corscadden for keeping us organized and in the know.
