This new brand name and logo represents the good works in part, that happen locally as a result of our participation in Charitable Gaming through Bingo World & Gaming. We are happy to be a part of the Charitable Gaming organization, working towards purchasing new equipment for the entire league.

From our whole Big Family within LSMSA, we would like to send to the Ennis Family our deepest condolences on the passing of Scott. Scott was not only a vital member of the LSMSA Executive, we was a great coach to many players over the past several years. His absence will be a noticed loss at the Diamonds.

Eventhough, we haven't been able to volunteer at Bingo World + Gaming yet, we are starting to reap the benefits of being a partner. We are hoping to use the funds raised to purchase some much-needed equipment for our league. Please let your friends and neighbours know that they can support us, as well as many other local non-profit organizations, by playing at Bingo World in Newmarket.

It's been a while since we shared anything with you, but as things start to re-open, we wanted to let you know that we have been approved as a partner with Bingo World + Gaming in Newmarket. This is an incredible fundraising opportunity for our group and we hope you will share this information with your friends. Recently, the Gauthier family lost everything in a house fire. The Lake Simcoe Minor Softball Association decided to present Andrew with a care package containing past team photos, a trophy, medal, gift card to purchase new equipment and some LSMSA swag. President Corinne and friend Jack made the presentation earlier this week.

June 8, 2020 To our entire LSMSA family, It is with great sadness and regret that the executive of LSMSA has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 season of softball. With the extension of the state of emergency in Ontario, the restrictions on the number of people allowed at gatherings and the on-going closure of Town facilities, we will not be able to provide the caliber of ball you have become accustomed to. Although we will miss our time on the diamonds, the healt...h and safety of all of those involved must be our top priority. If you have already paid registration for this season, you will be given the option of a full refund or the holding over of your registration funds for next year. In the event that registration fees increase for 2021, and you decide to let LSMSA hold your funds, you will not be charged any further increases. Should you opt for a refund, please email [email protected] to arrange for the appropriate method of refund. Please be patient as this process may take some time to complete. If this was to be your final year of play in our league, due to aging out, a special exemption will be made, so that you can play your final year in 2021. To all of our Players, Parents and Supporters of the League, As we navigate these uncharted times, we wanted to take a moment to let you know of some of the changes that have had to be made within our league. With the closing of public buildings and the practice of social distancing, our in-person registration which was to be held at the Ice Palace in Keswick, on Sunday March 22 has been moved to ATPhotography, 116 High Street in Sutton from 10am-3pm. Admittance will be limit...ed and disinfecting of supplies will occur between registrations. Of course, you can always register online through our registration page on our website, www.lsmsa.ca, and pay via e-transfer. In the event that this crisis continues throughout our regular season, full refunds will be provided. Our upcoming Casino/Winery bus trip that was to be held on April 5th, has been cancelled, with hopes of being rescheduled later in the year.
