Let’s talk New Years! If we have tables 6 feet apart and continue with safety protocols, who would attend a GOOD FN BYE 2020 NYE dinner, served, with a live country band? Dance lesson included! No dancing during band so lesson would be with recorded music only. Dinner! Band! Champagne! Party favours! **Note** that our regular capacity is 500 but we would only allow 100 for dinner and 100 for dance at the absolute maximum! (200 total) Anyone over 100 would be in overflow in lounge.

Dear Friends, Due to the high number of transmission at large gatherings we have decided to be a part of the solution and not have any such gatherings until further notice. Our venue is all about socializing and gathering so we believe this is in everyone’s best interest. ... We will continue with dance lessons on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and alternating Saturdays but will not have Live Music until the numbers go down and it is safe to gather again. Thank you for understanding! We will continue to train and educate our staff and volunteers during this time so they are prepared when we come back at full force! We will also advise when the kitchen is at full running capacity so you can come say hi and have a bite to eat. Until that day comes, stay safe and stay awesome!

Our annual winter coat drive time! Due to covid we are currently closed but the homeless and low income families still need our help! If you have a jacket or jackets you don’t wear or fit anymore (maybe they shrunk in the wash ) please contact me and we will arrange a drop off when I am at Boots or at my home even! I live close to Boots. Jackets, mittens, socks, boots, toques....

In light if today’s announcement Boots lessons are ceased for a minimum of 2 weeks effective tomoro. ALL LIVE MUSIC IS ALSO CANCELLED for 2 weeks effective immediately in accordance to the new restrictions! Ugh. This is not optional, LIVE MUSIC IS NOT ALLOWED for 2 weeks minimum. Also, with the new restrictions on bars/lounges etc having to have LAST CALL at 10pm and CLOSING at 11pm, we have decided to close down the entire room for those 2 weeks until this passes! This ...is one of the toughest decisions ever but we feel we have no choice. We will update in 2 weeks. Cyber hugs to everyone! Be safe and be smart!! Any if my bar owner friends, LISTEN TO THE RULES! This is NOT a hoax and until we ALL buckle down this won’t get better. Ugh. When I was doing Hall Parties they told me a Professional Venue was placed like Rogers Place, Festival Place, etc, places that are Concert venues and bars and Community Halls were NOT. I am calling them tomorrow for direction on this new mandate rather than assuming. Bottom line is I would rather be safe than sorry. I care more about me peeps then my bank account.

Masks worn by staff and guests when walking around the venue, unless dancing. No hand touching of straws in beverages. Masks and hand sanitizer available at a low cost to if you require it. No dancing during live music. Structured dance lessons and dancing ONLY during recorded music as per our specific venue.)
