Some little beaded earring creations. Beading has always been so special to me. Looking at colours, textures, stones and glass is like meditation to me. I have spent hours just sorting beads and thinking of colour combinations. It was a pastime with my younger sisters growing up. Any chance to check out a bead store was heaven (this was before the internet). When I lived in Whistler between 1998-2004 I sold beaded creations at the Whistler Farmers market, as well as working ...at the local bead store Lotus Art Supplies. I learned to make my own glass beads with some ladies @lindadaviesglassbeadmaker. So many amazing memories fill my heart when I think how beads have connected me to others. Lately I have stepped back from beading as much. Partly because I was working full time and also because I had children. I have admired many beaders and Indigenous artists. I have a vast collection of beads (a bit of a hoarder) and lately wanted to start to bead again. I also wanted to support efforts of @tinyhousewarriors, and not working much these days I thought I could bead!!
