Shop is all done (except my MIA clock I ordered) just in time for the June 1st reopen!!

Lyndsays Little Hair House 03.11.2020

Hi everyone! With the salon reopening soon, I just wanted to touch base with everyone regarding some protocols that will be in place I will be booking 15 minutes in between clients to clean and disinfect the shop. Please come at the proper time..do not be early or late, as I need that time to properly clean. If you do show up early, please either wait in your car, or, weather permitting, one of the seating areas outside. Once I have cleaned and disinfected I will come get you.... I am doing this to try and limit the amount of people in the shop at once. I will be using different capes per client and spraying them down with my disinfectant after each use, as well as all my styling tools, my stations, and the shampoo bowl/chair. My disinfecting spray is a virucidal, bactericidal, fungicidal, and tuberculocidal. I will be doing laundry at the end of each day, whether I’ve used 2 towels or 20, plus every cape I’ve used, and my apron as well. I will have masks available for clients if you don’t have one already. If you do, please bring it and use it if you need. Since I am limiting the salon to one client at a time, please do not bring your children with you to your appointment. It will be harder for me to maintain a proper cleaning protocol in 15 minutes if I have to clean everything kids have touched as well. I will be in touch with everyone to book appointments very soon. Please be patient. Everyone wants in ASAP and I won’t be able to make that happen for all. I will be booking accordingly. If you had an appointment booked for 8 weeks before this happened, you take priority over someone who had only been waiting 2 weeks. It’s only fair to do it that way. I promise I will get everyone in as fast as possible! If you have any symptoms, please rebook. Please don’t take the chance of spreading this just to cover some grey hair or to trim some split ends. It is not worth it, and I have elderly and immune compromised clients who are at risk. So any symptoms, no matter how mild, please rebook. Thank you all for your continued support, understanding, and patience. This is such a crazy time but we will all get back to normal eventually. Stay Safe, Stay Healthy, and I’ll see you soon!! Lyndsay

Hey everyone!! So from the announcement today, I have been receiving a lot of texts and Facebook messages. As of right now, there is no actual date set. They have said Mid May and onward. I dont know if we are part of the Mid May phase, or the onward phase. I have been in Touch with other stylists and they aren’t sure either, as some articles are saying we are phase 2, some are saying we are phase 3. We are all very overwhelmed right now trying to get the facts straight. Pl...ease be patient. There is a lot hairstylists/salons will need to do and get ready to make sure proper procedures are followed, in order to ensure your health and safety as well as ours. I will be posting again very soon to lay out the guidelines I will have in place. As soon as there is a definite date set, I will be in touch with everyone to schedule appointments. I have a long list, so again, please be patient..lol Thank you all for your understanding and patience through all of this. It has been difficult for all of us, but I will do my beat to get everyone in as quickly as possible, in the safest way possible.

Just wanted to check in on everyone! Hope you are all staying safe and healthy..we are all good here still! There has been no word as to when salons can reopen. I’ve been making a list of all clients that had their appointments cancelled because of this pandemic, and I will be rescheduling according to how long they have been waiting. So a client that pre-booked 8 weeks before this happened is going to be scheduled before a client that booked only 2 weeks before this all happ...ened. I’m going to do my best to get everyone in ASAP, but keep in mind I’ve had to cancel all of April, and a good chance all of May is getting cancelled as well. I know it’s hard right now, and everyone wants to just feel better. PLEASE DO NOT COLOR YOUR OWN HAIR!!! It will not turn out the way you want, then you will feel worse, and when I am back up and running, it will make it really hard for me to fix it, if it’s even possible. Take this time to give your hair a break from chemicals! Messy buns, hats, braids!! Use a root spray if you need to cover greys! Just don’t bleach, color, or cut your own hair, please please please!! Remember, no one is paying attention to your roots or hair color...they’re trying to stay as far away from you as f**king possible Love you all and can’t wait to see everyone again..sooner than later I hope Lyndsay
