As always, I will personally be picking up EVERY item & delivering/handing them out to our community members who are relying on your generosity! As many of you already know, I have been working in Addiction and Mental Health for over 20yrs and am personally connected to a population of people who could really really use your help! I advocate for people who do NOT have the means to purchase warm winter wear on their own and currently I’m working at a location where most (if not all) of my clients are homeless. This gives me an opportunity to distribute your donations directly to the people who need them the most. Listen, I see firsthand how poverty affects all walks of life and there is nothing worse than seeing a person wearing a spring jacket or hoodie in the dead of winter (frozen and sometimes too ashamed to ask for a 'hand-out'). EVERYONE deserves to be warm; help me warm the hearts of others and consider donating.
