The Bottisham Four article is done and posted. Check out the link and tell me what you think, were they blue or were they green?
The underside is complete. Not long now until it's finished. To be honest, I'm not completely happy with the weathering but it is what it is. A few of the details I picked out; the drop tanks were new so mine are very bright and shiny too; the white "splotches" on the tail; the general staining from leaking fluids; the D-Day stripes did NOT wrap around the underside on "Lou IV" so mine don't either.
Current status; wings on! The finish is in sight.
One of my most complex paint schemes. There are nine colours on Lou IV plus the Bare Metal Foil I used as the NMF. With the main paint done and sealed with a coat of Future, it’s on to the decals over the weekend. If I’ve gotten my measurements correct, the Lou IV decal will fit perfectly over the light blue lozenge shape I’ve painted for it
Progress; the rear fuselage with its green and blue is done. This all quite fragile at the moment and I won’t be happy until I’ve gotten it all sealed but I do like it. Blue Lou IV it is!
