Well, it’s official! I have officially signed with King University to be a part of their Acrobatics and Tumbling team! This has been such a huge process and I wouldn’t have been able to sign today without help from so many people along the way. Thank you to all my gymnastics coaches right from the very beginning 14 years ago. Thanks Coach Debbie for shaping my gymnastics career. Thank you Brooke, Rachelle, Molly and Vanessa at Springers Gymnastics for welcoming me into your gym family and pushing me to do my best. Thank you Coach Nanette at Kona Aerials Gymnastics and Coach Brad and Coach Ivee at Kokokahi Gymnastics for allowing me to train with you in Hawaii. It is with great sadness Manitoba Gymnastics is sharing the passing of Elfriede Goermann (1937-2020). As a lifetime member of Gymnastics Canada/Manitoba Gymnastics Association she accomplished many things such as opening Winnipeg Gymnastics Center in 1977; coaching athletes at all levels (local/national/international) and as a Brevet Judge. A post in her memory has been added to www.manitobagymnastics.ca. Her impact on the Sport of Gymnastics in Manitoba will never be forgotten.
