Sat Nov 21 (7pm) and Sun Nov 22 (2pm) www.theactmapleridge.org/present-laughter National Theatre's 2019 production of Noel Coward's classic comedy Present Laughter - coming to The ACT's screen on Nov 21 and 22 - reminds us to seize the moment in fleeting times.... The play's title is taken from a poem within Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. The lines read "What is love? ’Tis not hereafter / Present mirth hath present laughter", meaning joy should come now .. don’t hold it off. Joy now will produce happiness now.
