I love when the circle of life has such beauty in its design. Today I officiated the wedding of Mackenzie and Terrance at the stunning Fairmont Banff Springs Mackenzie and her beautiful family have woven in and out of my life for about 20 years. Mackenzie was in school with Shannon Gallagher-Burt at Milton Williams/Willow Park School. And her younger brother Kevin played lacrosse with my son Colin. And Mackenzie's Mum was Colin's teacher at Milton Williams/Willow Park Schoo...l. Full circle. In 2015 I won an alumni award from Mount Royal University. Mackenzie was working there in the Communications Department and reconnected with Shannon. She heard me speak in gratitude that night and must have liked what she heard, because when she found out I was a Marriage Commissioner, she asked me to officiate at her wedding to Terrance. I like my life. I LOVE marrying people, and I loved marrying Mackenzie and Terrance.
