Thank you to the Marsh Street Centre for this Certificate of Appreciation! We received this for being the #1 local business sponsor of the Marsh Street Centre f...or 2019 2020. Thank you to Robert Brown, the Director of Marketing for the Marsh Street Centre who presented this Certificate on Sunday, Dec. 6th to Preston and Sharon Owen. Preston drew the winning ticket of the very successful hot tub raffle, a hot tub that we donated. Thousands of dollars were raised to help keep the Marsh operational. Thank you to everyone that purchased a ticket and supported this initiative! On that note, we wanted to take this moment to emphasize the importance of not only shopping local, but to also give locally as well. We support many businesses including not-for-profits and charities by donating a portion of our sales. We focus on donating locally - we like to know that our donations have a direct impact on our community. JOB POSTING Marsh Street Centre seeks a part-time program coordinator for a new exercise, and lunch and learn program." Here is a list of job requirements and a few skills the candidate should possess: Part time: 2 days, 10-12 hours per week.... Report to the Project Manager. Must possess great interpersonal skills. Manage a database of participants. Maintain ongoing communication with participants. Recruit weekly speakers from the local community, or organize a film, or other activity Coordinate/confirm events with Exercise Leader Set up the auditorium each week Arrange catering through local restaurants and shops Recruit volunteers to serve and clean up after lunch Create and submit a weekly participant feedback survey Manage accounting spreadsheet of expenses and contributions Ensure that all sessions are COVID-19 compliant and on every level (participants, volunteers, guest speakers, instructors, facility.)

The Marsh Street Centre would like to thank the Ontario Arts Council for sponsoring our concert last Saturday featuring Robert Michaels. We loved being back in our newly refurbished hall and the music and flamenco dancer were phenomenal. It was a great experience for the performers too, who hadn't been on stage since March. Thank you OAC for supporting one of Ontario's great small halls!

Linda and I want to express our sincere thanks to the Board of Directors of the Marsh Street Centre for their honouring us as Life Members at today's Annual Gen...eral Meeting. To be in the same company as a gentleman like Tom Kennedy, who was made the first Life Member, last year, is a great honour for us. We see this as a tribute to all those people who made this dream a reality. We started in August, 1999, with nothing but a great idea and a lot of dreams and ended up starting something that serves the whole community. Marsh Street needs your help, now, to get through the COVID situation. They will be able to restart programs on a reduced basis soon.
