Reviewed by psanto440115 14 Jul 2019 Super Wonderful Stay at Mary Street B&B... I wanted to do something special for my wife in celebration of our 44th wedding anniversary so I decided on going to Niagara-on-the-Lake(NOTL) to take in a play at the Shaw festival. To make it extra special, I decided to include a stay at a B&B. NOTL abounds in B&Bs so there was no shortage of options for our one night stay. Mary Street popped up on the radar when I used a number of search engines to find the perfect place to stay AND stay within a reasonable budget. The reviews were great and our experience there did not disappoint. The B&B was within walking distance of the historical center of NOTL and the Shaw theaters but driving and parking was no problem. The B&B was set back well away from Mary St but road traffic was limited making for a serene setting. I chose the large upstairs room at the front of the B&B. Immaculate, spacious, tastefully decorated and a walkout to a 2nd floor porch with patio furniture and a view. The property also offered a shaded pergola, BBQ facilities and a cozy common living room, coffee bar, water dispenser, treats and dining room for communal breakfasts. Our hosts - John (a budding author) and his wife Jamie - were most welcoming. Jamie prepared a wonderful breakfast for us the following morning. A friend had opted to join us and took a lower room as did another couple.
