Our Director of Project Delivery, Sheldon Pinto, dropped by WIN House earlier this week to drop off a donation cheque on behalf of the Maven Team. WIN House is a women’s shelter in Edmonton that works to empower domestic abuse victims. They provide emergency services including comprehensive programs, support and advocacy in addition to being a safe haven for victims. Maven Consulting is very proud to have participated in the Athletics4Kids Double the Scoreboard matching campaign. Maven was able to raise $5,572 for the campaign through contributions and fundraising efforts from our team in addition to our corporate matching. The campaign as a whole raised a total of $90,000. Thank you to all of our staff that donated and spread the word! It was truly a privilege to be able to contribute to such a great cause. The Maven team had a great time participating in the North Vancouver District Fire Fishing Derby last Friday. As an extension of our Share 1% program, we sponsored a charter boat for the event. We were 1 of 50 boats in the derby and approximately 200 fishers. Congrats to Kyle Lambert on having one of the bigger catches of the day. And, thank you to Athletics for Kids for helping set this up for us - We can’t wait to be back next year!
