You have played beach volleyball in the sun. You have played beach volleyball in the wind. You have even played beach volleyball in the rain. But have you played beach volleyball in a tent???... Yes, you read correctly...beach volleyball in a tent! An exclusive MaxVolley offer! With 2020 being so crazy, we thought we would do something crazy and extend the beach volleyball season by pitching a tent over the courts! We will be setting up a huge tent to cover 4 Shefford courts for the month of October and maybe November. The tent will be illuminated and heated (as much as possible). Doubles and fours leagues will follow the same schedule as the summer Shefford leagues. Leagues will start the week of Oct 5th and run for 4 weeks. Space is very limited and the deadline is Sept 28th so register soon! (Only 16 teams per league) If the league fills up, register on the waiting list and if there are enough teams, we may be able to get a bigger tent. There will be two time slots of 2 hours for league play: starting at 6:30pm and 8:30pm. League registration will also include a drop-in pass for the players, which you can use to book available court time. League players will be able to play at least 4 hrs per week (2 hr league and 2 hr drop-in) which will equal to approximately $7.50 per hour per player! Drop-in membership passes will also be available to purchase for those not playing in the leagues. More info on the website. www.maxvolley.com

We are still in the waiting period to see when the league can start. We are hoping soon! Every Monday we update the league start staus on our website. In the mean time, the nets are up!!! Players who have registered can use them as long as physical distancing rules are followed including keeping 2m apart and a max of 5 people per court. Hand washing stations are available.

Due to provincial regulations, we will delay the deadline and the leagues one week at a time, until we are able to begin. New deadline: June 3rd. League starts the week of June 7th. ... This will be updated every Monday morning on our website, we will also send an email to inform you when we know we can start. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Due to Covid-19, we will delay the start of the leagues until the 1st week of June if restrictions are eased by then. The ranking tournament for new teams will be on Saturday May 30th. League games will start the week of May 31st on your respective night. This would give us 13 weeks of play plus 1 week of playoffs ending September 4th before Labour Day long weekend, which is a full season but we have little room for cancellations. (this year our schedule is intended to play... at least 12 weeks in a 14 week period, plus playoffs. Last year it was 11 weeks in a 13 week period) This summer happens to have more available weeks the way the calendar falls. The new registration deadline will be Friday May 15th. If we must delay the league further or cancel nights to due weather, several options will be available including: extending the league into September (on a voluntary basis), modifying playoffs, modifying the schedule to have more games per night, credits/refunds. Due to Covid-19, we will not be doing the pay-in-person this year. For those who were planning to pay-in-person, we have two payment options: 1- Login to your account and pay by credit card but the regular price will apply. (no discount) 2- Send an e-transfer to [email protected] and pay the discounted fees of $290 for Doubles, $380 for Threes or $440 for Fours. ... Thank you and stay safe.

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the Kanata pay-in-person date, scheduled for March 25th, will be postponed to Tuesday April 14th. Currently, the Shefford pay-in-person date is still Tuesday April 7th. We will send a message closer to this date if changes must be made. At this point, the leagues will begin mid-May as scheduled. We contemplate the worst case scenario would be delaying the leagues by a few weeks. A decision regarding this will be made in early May. ... Thank you and continue to be safe!
