"The eyes, lost, in the horizon" Today is the World Ocean Day. A day where everybody should focus and think about the treatment we are giving to our oceans. Since I was a kid, I have always been fascinating by the ocean, and its depth. Indonesia offered me my first occasion to go diving and to discover this quiet but magnificent world. A world that stayed untouched until quite soon. The oceans are the most complexe environment I had the chance to see. From tiny and super co...lourful nudibranch to sharks, I loved all the thing I saw underwater. And today, i want to fight to preserve these hidden beauties. This picture was taken on Gili Air, after my last dive in Indonesia. The sunset was breathtaking. #worldoceanday

"Pandan Wangi Bikers" Man, I remember that ride. I left Desert Point to cross the entire island from west to east. The goal was Ekas. The ride was magnificent. I didn't cross a single western person, and those small roads took me to random places, from the middle of rice fields to tiny villages, where nobody goes. I remember, every time I crossed the villages, the "hellllllo" from all the kids of the village, running at me. I Couldn't continue without taking a break to shot... and exchange smiles, so I stopped and those guys showed up. Man, they were stunning on their bikes. The nicest people are the ones who have the less. One more time this sentence hit me. See more

"Getting lost around the unfound Blongas" On our South Lombok trip, we wanted to head to Desert Point, following the Indian Ocean. We had to go through Blongas, but we never found the village, and after a while, the road was broken and we couldn't continue. We stop in this village, so far from everything. And we got the cheapest, spiciest, and nicest lunch we had in Lombok. Surrounded by an amazing warmth of welcome. Patience was the key word when arriving in this village. F...or the first 15 minutes, all the kids were so afraid of us. I was doing one step to them, and they were running to hide themself behind their parents. But after a while, after the looked at us eating (and it's strange to eat when you have so many people looking at you while doing it), they finally got to trust us, and I could start shooting. Man, they were everywhere. Everybody wanted to be on the pictures. I like this pictures because it has the exact atmosphere we lived their. Everybody is sitting around this bamboo shelter, eating all together, kids and women. That's how people spend their days in Lombok. Waiting for clients for their tiny shops. Lombok has so much to offer, the road to Blongas is following one of the nicest beach I had the chance to see in my life. As they say, "It's going to be the next Bali, but with a bit less tourists."

"Kids land" We arrived in Myanmar by Tachileik. A wonderful city, full of lovely people, where we got the chance to get our first burmese vibes. I remember, we were walking in the street, we didn't really know where to go, just waiting for the time to head at the airport. I remember this noise. The noise schools playground is international, and I always loved it, maybe because it reminds me of my young years. I remember that you didn't really though it would be possible for... us to walk in. But we did. Man, I remember their smile, their happiness to see those two tall white guys walking in and playing with them. Burmese school are so welcoming. I had the chance, several times, to walk in one and help the kids with their home work. That makes them so happy, but I guess they can't imagine my happiness when I'm here, sitting with them, surrounded by people I can't understand, but feeling at the right place.

"Playing at school" With a few friends I met in the train, we decided to take a 2 days trek in the mountains around Hsipaw. On our way, we had the chance to cross some unexpected villages, with rebel army (yes, the civil war in Myanmar is still going on, after 50 years), and schools filled with happy kids, full of energy, ready to play. ... I remember, we couldn't leave. The break was never ending. How could you possibly want to leave this intense happiness. When I shoot, I always try to get alone with my subjects, so I can really get the exact emotion I want. For that, you need to be patient, and wait for everybody to leave to get that private moment. I remember that I stayed, playing hide and seek. Man, they were shinning.

"Facing a dream" I've always dreamed to meet and walk with elephants. That dream became true in Cambodia. Meeting the Phnom culture, and their elephants, was an incredible experience, where I got to understand the power of tradition. That day is also linked with one of the most touching meeting I lived in my life. Phnom have a lot to tell, and it always do the same effect, putting back your two feet on the ground and reminding you that you're still alive.
