Finally took the time to trim out a couple new windows I installed in my house. I started out in the trade as a finish carpenter over 10 years ago and learned a few tricks since then that have always saved me hours and given me the best finished product. One - take the time when setting up to build an assembly table. You ALWAYS use it more than you think. Two - when trimming out windows, take your measurements and try to assemble the entire unit in one piece and insert in the opening. McInnally Construction is currently looking to hire another carpenter for contract work in the Lower Mainland. It's the start of the busy season so need more help. Jobs entail commercial and residential construction work (demolitions, framing/forming, finishing, etc). Must be skilled, versatile and have several years experience but may also consider a 2nd-4th year apprentice. Not interested in hiring labourers at this time. Own transportation and tools required.
