Lately Ive been getting lots of requests for refunds. Unfortunately, nothing has changed with tour operators and cruise lines. If you were eligible for a refund, you would have gotten it right away. For everyone else...most tour operators (Transat, Sunwing, Air Canada Vacations, WestJet Vacations) are offering vouchers with a two year expiry date. Transat and Air Canada Vacations now have some with no expiry (depends when booked and when cancelled). You are more than welcome to contact your tour operator and ask about a refund and/or voucher expiry. I can only follow the policies I am given!

Our 2nd night of our 3 day getaway was spent in Mahone Bay! I booked a Bed & Breakfast (also listed as an Airbnb). This place was amazing and the host truly went out of her way to make sure our stay was outstanding. Saltbox Brewery was just a 2 min walk away and it was a 10 minute walk to downtown Mahone Bay.The breakfast was absolutely delicious! I went on another little stay-cation in my own beautiful province this week. Lunenburg was our 1st stop and Im quite sure it was my 1st time...definitely not my last. Last minute opening...this place is amazing!!

This south shore retreat is amazing! I stayed here last month with my friend and our daughters. Water views from all the windows...felt like I was waking up on a cruise ship! I highly recommend these beautiful cottages for a getaway!

GREAT NEWS!! I can now start rebooking your vacations for 2021 with your Future Travel Credits. Transat has dates available up until March 31, 2021 at this point. Even if you havent received your credit yet as Im still waiting for some...I can still go ahead and book using your credit.

Royal Caribbeans 1st Virtual Cruise was such a success that they are doing another one. Embarkation starts tomorrow morning for a 4 day Bahamas Cruise aboard Virtual of the Seas! Jump aboard...you wont regret it!!

A big shout out to my amazing clients! You have all been so patient and understanding during these VERY difficult times. This is such a fluid situation and Ive been dealing with SO many changes from tour operators, cruise lines and airlines. Policies are still constantly changing and its SO hard to keep up. For some of you I may have told you one thing and then come back saying that is no longer the case. Maritime Travel is trying their best but in the end we have to... follow each suppliers policies. I do feel I have the best clients as most of you have been so easy to deal with. Im getting words of encouragement and lots of thank yous for my hard work! At this point, I am not getting paid for any work nor will I be when everyone rebooks with their future travel credits. Today was a Virtual Sea Day! One of the activities was Towel Folding Art. Ive always wondered how they do these amazing creations each night on our cruise. Well...now I know its not as easy as it looks. I decided to attempt one so I picked the easiest...a swan! It wouldnt stay unless I held it down with my finger. Todays Virtual Cruise brought me to one of Royal Caribbeans private islands...Labadee, Haiti!There is so much to do on this island but also a great place to relax.Since I worked on cancellation files all day, I wasnt able to take part in todays activities. So Im showing you pictures of my day on the island along with one of my best adventures EVER...Dragons Breath Flight Line. I tried to send video but it wouldnt post.

So today we are in Cozumel on my Virtual Cruise! Since I dont have anything Mexican to dress up in, I decided to share some of my pictures from my actual visit in Cozumel. This was my 1st Royal Carribean cruise on the Allure of the Seas...and one of my favorites. Ever since this cruise Ive been wanting to bring my family on an Oasis class ship. Last week should have been that cruise and my 2nd visit in Cozumel. Enjoy my Cozumel pics!!

So Ive jumped aboard Virtual of the Seas cruise this week (check my last post for info)! Yesterday I sipped my Caribbean drink by the beach...it was SO hot! Today we are in Cozumel for Taco Tuesday! I highly encourage you all to jump aboard...might as well have fun during these difficult times!

I hope my clients know I care very much about each and every one of you!This craziness continues today as I keep cancelling booking after booking. Please be patient with me as I have to be patient with the tour operators. Most of our cancellations are now being done via online forms as we cant through on the phones. It will take time for each booking to get cancelled on their end with credits applied on most files. Insurance companies are also swamped and their policies keep changing as well. It is very hard to give clear answers during this time but I am trying my best! Better days ahead for everyone...take care and stay safe!

Im still alive! Thank you for your patience during this difficult and ever-changing times. I have been extremely busy this week with LOTS of cancellations. We are experiencing VERY long hold times with our tour operators to get everyone cancelled and to get the proper refunds or credits. If you are trying to reach me, the best way is by e-mail, text or Messenger. I cant answer many calls as Im on hold most of the day with tour operators.
