I don’t know about you but I feel much better

Tea time! I got this beautiful tea set in South Korea (best trip ever!). My friend Lisa Miall negotiated the price while I corrected some dudes term paper in the market (yup, seriously). I brought it home to Canada on my next trip back and left it here thinking I would be back in Canada soon and it was in a safer place. Well, I ended up living 10 MORE YEARS in the UK. Today, my kids and I were talking about enjoying special things, using the nice things that you have so you can enjoy them and not saving them for a ‘special occasion’ that may never come. I remembered this tea set and we quickly decided that us being together, enjoying tea, biscuits and conversation was indeed a special occasion. Don’t wait to enjoy things. Use the good China, eat the cake, buy the shoes, drink the tea.

#Repost @anteathemamacoach WORLD BREASTFEEDING WEEK!!! Let’s squash a couple of common MYTHS about breastfeeding today! . .... My boobs are small so they won’t produce enough milk. FALSE! Breast size has more to do with fat tissue and not with your milk ducts. Most breast implants will not even reduce your ability to make enough milk. Breast reduction though can make it harder to produce since the tissue has been removed. The most common reason that milk supply drops is due to an ineffective latch (by the baby or poor fitted pump flanges), so not enough stimulation early on!!! . . I don’t want to breastfeed because it will ruin my boobs and make them saggy! FALSE. Pregnancy will do this anyway Your mammary glands swell in your pregnancy and this stretching, in combination with weight gain, will then cause sagginess as you start to lose weight postpartum and as your hormones fluctuate. . . Do I miss my BF boobies? Absolutely! They are flat now and not perky at all, but HEEYYYYY they’ve been through a lot and I enjoy not needing a bra Roll with it and love your body at all stages! Great day on the Jack Pine Trail! I kept freaking out and dropping my sunflower seeds when the birds came to me! The kids were much better! We’ve been enjoying the trails close to... Ottawa and are going to try and find the ‘Fairy Doors’ one next. If you have any to recommend please let me know! See more

I saw this in a Barrhaven Mom’s group. For anyone who has ever taken a Baby Massage class with me in Barrhaven. It wasn’t just us! Those spaces are so freakin’ small! ‘I think, even in this trying time, we can all agree on one thing - the parking lot where My Gym/Burger and Shakes/Art Haven is, is the worst.’

I made a thing! A pretty big thing actually. It was sparked off by not being able to take my kids to the park and then took on a life of its own! It was hard work and very frustrating at times but it turned out fab and I’m so happy with it
