If glamping is more your style, then a treehouse at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa is the perfect choice!

Some other restaurant options at Sandals Grande Antigua! Mario’s is a bright and spacious Italian restaurant with breakfast/lunch/dinner options. Eleanor’s is a gorgeous ocean view option with French cuisine. And the Bayside restaurant boasts gorgeous sea views and a casual menu!... Again, all food and drink is included at any of these restaurants!

If you enjoy Asian cuisine there are 2 great options at Sandals Grande Antigua! Soy is an amazing sushi bar where you can watch the chef make the creations right before your eyes. Kimono’s is a hibachi style restaurant, and by far one of the biggest meals we had during our stay!

I always build in a day in my trips to head to Disney Springs. Good restaurants and shopping to be had!

There are 11 restaurants at Sandals Grande Antigua, all included with your stay! First night we dined at Barefoot by the Sea. You can dig your toes in the sand at this beachfront delight and savour the amazing seafood offerings!

This is an interesting theory! While I do enjoy long trips, the shorter 3-4 day getaways are nice, too! Which do you prefer?

There are 6 freshwater pools at Sandals Grande Antigua, including the 15,000 sq.ft. Mediterranean pool which boasts one of 2 swim up bars! Some of the pools are tucked away in quieter areas and some rooms have walkouts so you can take a dip right outside your door! We also booked a pool cabana one day. For $115usd you have use of the cabana from 9am-5pm which includes two lounge chairs and umbrella, patio sofa, table and chairs and a cooler with soft drinks, water and beer. A cabana attendant also delivers breakfast, lunch and drinks. Plus you might have a visit from some of the resort cabana cats :)

So let’s talk about the beach!! Sandals Grande Antigua sits on the longest white sand beach in Antigua- Dickenson Bay! The sand is powdery soft and the calm waters are perfect for any water sport! All beaches in Antigua are public. We took a stroll and found on one side of the resort sits an abandoned resort and when you walk down the beach past the other side you find some homes and lots of places for people to enjoy the water and weather.

It’s been a month since we visited Sandals Grande Antigua so for the next few days I’ll share some experiences and information for anyone looking for a great all-inclusive experience! The resort has two sections: Caribbean and Mediterranean. We stayed club level on the Mediterranean side. Benefits of club level is you have a dedicated lounge (one in each section) where you can make your dining reservations, book a cabana, and have some snacks and drinks. Club level guests can... also order room service and they have a fully stocked bar in the room! So is the extra cost of club level worth it? I would say it depends. If it’s your first trip it’s nice to have those extra amenities! But you don’t need it to have a great stay!!
