Mustard Tree Faith in a Storm, 5 x 7 watercolour This is my first painting since my knee operation. Recovery has been wrought with many ups and downs. Friends and family have faithfully prayed for Peter and I. I thank God I’m on the bright side now and all is going well.

Tala Commissioned Watercolour. The client wants to gift each of her children with a painting of their family fur friend. This is the first portrait of Tala. She at 10 years old, is alert and ready to play. She has the energy of a puppy and could chase a stick all day long. Her people say, Tala at 10 weeks old picked them and not the other way around. She is their special girl and a regal princess.

Maggie Commissioned Watercolours 11 x 14 Maggies is a 13 year old golden retriever. Her human mom adores her. She knows Maggie wont always be with her, but this portrait will forever remind her of what a faithful friend and companion Maggie was over the years.

Blind Tosh Commissioned Watercolours Tosh is a blind golden lab. The sky was reflecting in his normally dull grey eyes when a picture was snapped of him. What an amazing photo to use as a reference for his portrait! Unfortunately, for health reasons, his eyes needed to be removed. Happily, he lives on with his human dad in Nanaimo BC.

Blue Macaw detail 20x24 watercolour $2,000 This is a close up of a Blue Macaw in a forest. Macaws are regal, vibrant, and lively creatures.

Wally and Winnie Commissioned Watercolours. Wally and Winnie are a pair of fur friends that have special significance. When Ann was battling cancer, her and her mother purchased 2 cats-one for the mom and one for the daughter. Ann passed on and now mom has both cats. Wally and Winnie provide companionship and comfort for the grieving mom. Ann is not the daughters real name.

This is a watercolour commission of Puddles, a precious fur friends. Hes gone on to doggy heaven now, but he will never be forgotten.

I loved spending the day painting at Bronte Creek Provincial Park with my cousin, son and grandchildren. On this day, precious moments were captured. These memories encompassed not only the present but the past as well. This farmhouse was built in 1899. It was home to the Breckon family- Henry, his wife Margaret, and their children Christine, Alice and Gordon- until the 1950s. Today, there is something in the atmosphere-a sense history, reverence, awe and even curiosity. As I listened to my grandchildren play, I imagined the Breckon children playing in the house, just behind the door.

Plein Air painting with Mary Jean at Bronte Creek Park. It was chilly but a good time was had by all....especially the girls behind me.

Ariel, our little Lhasa Apso guard dog, you are sorely missed. She was a lion hearted little dog dedicated to protecting her mama, me.

According to a recent survey 64% of artists and creative workers are unemployed! Every opportunity to perform, showcase or display in person has vanished for the time being. The creative community is deeply wounded by the COVID-19 pandemic. In response, Ive joined RAW Artists in an effort to help fundraise directly to artists for a project titled, The National Arts Drive. On Saturday, June 6, 2020, 4 pm -7 pm were calling all artists in every creative medium to showcase f...rom their front lawns, driveways, balconies, stoops or studios. Were inviting the community at-large to take a drive and experience the creative culture living in their own neighborhood. The driving experience will be paired with a mobile website and interactive map. As drivers approach an installation or performance they can donate directly to the artist, follow them on social media and/or flag their online shop for future purchase. Thank you everyone for following the progress of this painting and for your encouragement. This painting was inspired by a friend. This is what she was thinking. l was feeling too old then that morning I saw my cactus had one beautiful bloom....4 months late. God said Im not too old. Everyone blooms in their own time.

So, not all paintings turn out. Ive learned something here-not enough contrast. Now, Im going to do it again. Hopefully it will turn out better.

This is an ambitious attempt at painting blue glass....not an easy task.

This is the wellspring or headwaters of the Jordan River at Tel Dan. I gifted the painting to our church, Wellspring-a place where Holy Spirit flows like a river.
