Yesterday a partnership was created between @mamasformamas.kw and The Sharing Squirrel in the KW Region. The Sharing Squirrel will be donating their extra clothing to us bi-weekly. This partnership is going to help change the landscape of poverty for families in the KW Region. Did you know in KW a staggering 12.2% of children between the ages of 0-17 live in poverty. We see a future where this statistic does not exist. We see a future where no mother or child is ever left be...hind. We see a future where community can come together and provide a hand up. By doing this we are building the confidence of our future generations. We are showing them kindness is currency and teaching them everyone belongs. We are eager to watch this all unfold and to witness our community come together in order to build each other up. We are so grateful for the connection we have made with @thesharingsquirrel and every connection we have made or make in the Region. As Brene Brown once said we don’t have to do it alone we were never meant to.
