February 24, 2021 Dear Moore Skating Club families; We regret to inform you that Moore Skating Club will not be returning to the ice as previously announced. This encompases all Figure and Power skating programs. With Sarnia-Lambton being a Red Zone under the Provincial Covid-19 framework we would have to operate under restricted capacity dictated by both the Mooretown Sports Complex and our governing body, Skate Canada. This makes it impossible for us to operate to the hi...gh standards of programming that the Moore Skating Club is known for. We commit to ensuring that all members receive timely refunds for the weeks that were left of our session. You will be contacted soon to confirm the mailing address you’d like the refund sent to. If you have questions about the refund process, please use the Contact Us section of our website: https://mooreskatingclub.ca/ and your question will be answered promptly. This was not an easy decision to make as once again, the children are the ones who bear the brunt of pandemic related cancellations. Many Board members are parents of skaters who are going to be disappointed in this reversal of plans just like yours will be. We thank you for your continued support during a very trying time. We look forward to seeing you back on the ice in the fall - please watch the website and Facebook page for updates. Until then, be safe and kind to one another. Sincerely, The Moore Skating Club Board of Directors.
We’re back!!! After a very long break, the Moore Skating Club is thrilled to announce that, starting the week of March 1st, we have been given the go-ahead to resume our sessions, both Figure Skating and Power Skating. Ice times remain the same, however all skates will take place in rink 1. There will continue to be safety protocols in place, including the Moore Sports Complex Spectator policy (which will be posted on our Facebook and website) which we ask that you continue to respect. Thank you to St. Clair Township, the MSC and most importantly, our membership as the Moore Skating Club weathered the COVID-19 lockdown of 2021. We can’t wait to see you back on the ice! Still have questions? Please contact us on our website or email us at [email protected] / [email protected]

Here is an updated spectator flow chart from the Moore Sports Complex. Rink 1 remains unchanged. Rink 2 now flows into Rink 1 (northeast door) instead of directly outside and all the way around the arena. Thank you to the arena staff for helping all our skating families navigate the Rink 2 flow this week!
