Had a great meeting Tuesday night with Andrew Cairns of Home Equity Bank talking reverse mortgages and their use cases. We are grateful to have been invited out, thank you for adding another tool for us to help more home owners needing help to clean up their financial stresses

Collaboration is one key to results. Nothing happens until you get two or more people together working towards one targeted goal. Many of the people and families that really need our help don't even know about the options that we can provide them. When people need to be released from their debt burdens and selling their home is the only option, most people only know to seek a realtor to try and sell the property on the open market. Selling with a realtor CAN work for some,... maybe even most people. The problem is when you owe the bank almost the same amount as your property is worth, then most realtors will and are justified to walk away from trying to sell that property because there isn't any room to guarantee that they will be paid for all the work and effort they have to put into selling a property. Realtors have to run and protect their business, there is no fault when they have to decline putting a property up for sale. Back to collaboration though, we love connecting with realtors and educating them about the options we provide to people in those low or no equity positions. This creates trust that when they refer us to potential clients they can't currently help that those clients are in good hands with people who genuinely care to provide optimized solutions.
